LJD advances social justice through legal empowerment, strategic advocacy, accountability initiatives, research, and rights-based community engagement. We work to ensure that human rights are not merely recognized in principle, but effectively protected and enforceable in practice.
Our work focuses on strengthening access to justice and promoting accountability for violations affecting vulnerable and marginalized communities, including migrants, refugees, displaced persons, women, Black communities, persons with disabilities, workers, and communities affected by environmental harm and economic exploitation.
